About William Timlen
In his role as tax partner for the Real Estate Group with EisnerAmper LLP in New York City, William Timlen draws upon more than 25 years of experience as a CPA. In this role, he provides tax and consulting services to real estate clients, including owner-operators, hotels, and large real estate development companies. Since joining the firm in 2016, he has worked to drive new business for the Firm and has recruited experienced professionals to support its continued growth.
Prior to joining EisnerAmper LLP, William Timlen, CPA, was tax principal for the Real Estate Group at Friedman, LLP. He spent seven years in this position and represented some of the firm's largest accounts. He managed his own firm from 1999 to 2007, and began his career as a staff accountant with Lear & Pannepacker, CPAs, in 1993.
William Timlen holds a bachelor of science in accounting from Providence College, where he made the Dean's List and was a four-year member of the school's Division-I baseball team. When he isn't working, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.
